The Ethnological Museum in Timbuktu

When in the crown of west africa aka timbuktu you need to visit the  ethnological museum. It stands as tall as 10 elephants and as wide as twenty 18 wheelers. Though dull brown on the outside it was very colorful with culture on the inside. As i strolled through the narrow hall ways and the rooms with low rounded ceilings i saw many exhibits. The exhibits contain but were not limited to old garments and clothing some tattered some with a light layer of dust, ancient looking instruments with strange curves and bends, rough asymmetrical  jewelry, and last but not least things that appeared to be games they had almost random blocks/pieces. The well of Bouctou is right near the museum it is a small but deep well where the town was originally founded. There was a pretty big crowd around it id say around 100 people. The well was so small yet it meant so much to the locals. Speaking of locals they were some of the most nice, patient, helpful people i have ever met. I wish everyone in the world was like them. From now on i’m striving to be more like them everyday.
